How these numbers were collected
- Source: Weedmaps’ public product listings, captured on Oct 4, 2026 for one city per state, counting stores and deliveries within 50 miles and in the same state.1
- A menu item counts when its name contains “Tropicana Cookies”, “Tropicanna Cookies” or “Trop Cookies” and it is sold as flower, so items sold as “Trop Cookies BX” count too. Names that continue with Cherry, Mints, Punch, Banana or Cake are treated as other strains, crosses written with x, ×, + or & and pre-rolls are excluded, and items named only “Tropical Cookies” or “MTN Trop” are not counted.
- “Median eighth” uses only items sold as an eighth (3.5 g). Listed prices may or may not include tax, and deals are not applied. Infused flower is counted but not priced; around Detroit it made up 8 of the 25 menu items.
- Only stores with a Weedmaps menu are counted, so a low count can reflect Weedmaps coverage rather than the market.

Menus and lab records use several names.
